You are sorry and you didn’t know and it’s ok, but you are sorry. I am sorry, I didn’t know, it’s ok, it doesn’t matter, I am sorry, it’s ok, it doesn’t matter, really. I am sorry, it’s ok, really, really? Really.

Eating a Potatoe, Rockmore Recital, Neringa restaurant Gedimino Ave. 23,
08 31 Friday 15.00-18.00, Vilnius, LI, 2012
Rockmore Recital might be seen as a radio play, a variety show, a life-recording studio, an exhibition in sound, an audio guide to the CAC, Vilnius, Triennial, Timbuktu or… Besides, you don’t need to move to travel. Unless you want to dance, and by the way, anarchist Golden Emma is from Kaunas, not Vilnius. It’s her phrase: “if I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution,” which became a slogan of freedom. Clara Rockmore, the most famous theremin player ever, she was born in Vilnius. The recital’s score consists of simple scripts, advertising, pre-recording, blurbs, songs, soundtrack motives and guest performances.
Organised by Valentinas Klimašauskas and Morten Norbye Halvorsen
